Hi Tech Brake and Clutch Services began operating in Newmarket, Auckland in 1988. Proprietor Lyall Zohs began this business as a sole trader after working in the Brake industry as Company Manager for the Motospecs company, Brakes and Steering and then on to Friction Linings, which after a few years changed its name to Auckland Brake & Clutch Services and then to Auto Stop/Automotive Supplies NZ Ltd. After a number of years in Newmarket, we moved our operation to new premises in Akepiro St, Mt Eden in 2005 where we have been operating from ever since.
Annette Zohs began work at Hi Tech Brake & Clutch Services in 1989 and the experience she has gained in that time makes her your first port of call for EBC and HI TECH enquiries as she is very well respected in this industry here in NZ.
With their many years of experience in automotive brakes and their affinity to Motorsport, Lyall and Annette decided to concentrate on the performance side of the industry and back in 2002 took on board the NZ distributorship for EBC Brakes UK. Along with selling the EBC product throughout the country, Hi Tech Brake & Clutch Services also provides the following services:
