EBC Bluestuff NDX Super-Street & Trackday Brake Pads

Endurance Race pad only

  • New NDX Formula

For several years EBC Brakes has been developing its full race pads for cars called Bluestuff and after a final modification in 2009 is preparing to release this material known as Formula NDX in time for the 2010 season.
The NDX Formula is a harder and longer lasting pad than its stable mate the Yellowstuff compound and has been very successfully run on heavier cars including the Holden Monaro which weighs in at over 3600lbs (almost 1.7 tons) and as such is a much better test of the typical race car.
Whilst EBC Brakes Yellowstuff has worked out very well in Europe on Track day and short even closed circuit racing, its high friction characteristics cause it to wear quite quickly on heavier cars and longer races, making the Blue NDX grade the ideal upgrade.

  • Pre bedded by heat scorching

  • Bonded to the steel backing plates using multiple high strength interlock holes.

  • Deep V grooved incorporated to help venting and catch dirt, dust and debris.

  • Manufactured by blending specially chosen man made naturally mined fibers.

  • It is highly recommended that you machine or replace disc rotors when renewing disc pads

NOTE:  EBC New Zealand are evaluating the new NDX grade of pad and at this stage we will only be bringing in part numbers if available, on request.

Please note THERE IS NO WARRANTY whatsoever for any EBC product used in Rally, Racing or Trackday.  Loads, speeds, track length and format and especially driving styles can vary immensely and can dramatically affect pad life.  Standard brake systems even on modern cars are not normally designed for racing and may be totally unsuitable for race use.  Simply changing to what we call a  "Race Formula" pad does not provide you with a race car.  Acquaint yourself safely in a test mode to evaluate if any material you use for racing is suitable in terms of braking power, fade resistance and WEAR LIFE.  Monitor wear carefully every few laps when first applying products to race or rally cars to avoid an unforeseen short life issue.  In spite of the fact the EBC brakes has had many successes in race use of its products no one pad can solve all brake issues and requirements.
